Made it to Nashville

Heading West finally and it feels wonderful! We entered the central time zone and realized we won't be back to EST until we are on our way back!

The keys were absolutely amazing! Key West had all the features of a resort/beach/vacation spot. In that way it certainly reminded me of Chatham, except on a much larger scale. Everybody having a good time and too many places to spend your money!

The Everglades were immensely underwhelming! We showed up a day early (because we had made time in our schedule for a travel day which we didn't need. We payed for three nights of camping, but two proved to be MORE than enough. I was expecting crazy swamps and mangrove forests, which I'm sure are in the Everglades, but from what we saw, not near the Flamingo area of the park. Did some hiking, read a lot, played some rummy (Timmy and Emma's obsession) :).

Thoroughly enjoying the large amount of reading I've been able to get done! Trying to remember that the trip is a vacation as much as it is a journey!
