Day 41 - The Book of Mormon

The three nights at the Grand Canyon went by surprisingly fast. We had to leave the GC relatively early because we didn’t know exactly where were staying in Utah and our next little pit stop was Zion National Park. The north entrance to the canyon was closed due to the season, so we had to go all the way around to get to Zion.

I had heard about Zion from extended family and was told that I must go and see it while we are in the area. It didn’t take too long to get there and the drive to the “riverwalk” was through the mountains on a long windy road. It was gorgeous. When we walked along the Riverwalk we got the sense of being in the canyon, which we missed out on from the GC. So instead of standing up high and looking down, we were walking along with high walls. We could get a better sense of perspective size. We wish we could have stayed longer but we had to get moving and head to our hotel that was a little bit of a ways away.

After getting a great deal at the neighborhood Pizza Barn, we went back to our room to appreciate the average hotel BED!

Tomorrow we were going to another national park!
