The Vegas.

After arriving in the highly anticipated Vegas, we got accustomed to our surroundings pretty fast. Staying at the Excalibur, we found ourself in a pretty good location, near the end of one side of the strip but close to New York New York, MGM, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and Luxor. Over the course of the three days we managed to hit up various casinos, and I can proudly say I was very conservative while gambling and basically broke even by the end of our visit.

The second night we were there we went to all of our first Cirque de Solei shows, Mystere, and it was AMAZING!!! When we got to the theatre (at Treasure Island) our seats were upgraded and we ended up on the fourth row, so very cool. After the show we headed back to Excalibur to do a little drinking and gambling.

The third day we took a trip in the morning to see Hoover Dam, about 45 minutes East of Vegas. AFter that we headed to New York New York so i could ride the ever so cool roller coaster!!!! We did some gambling at the casino, and I found my new favorite game roulette. We headed back to the hotel to rest up before going out to the Stratosphere (on the other end of the strip) to meet up with my dad's old friend Debbie. We had 2 for 1 martinis on the top of the Stratosphere, with a fab view of the entire city. After drinks, I went on the ride "Big Shot" on top of the stratosphere, so basically was at the highest point in Vegas (SO AWESOME!!) We then headed back to the hotel and went to Mandalay Bay for the rest of the evening to do our last bit of gambling.

All in all I really like Vegas, and will definitely have to return again!!
