Vegas certainly took a lot out of us but it was worth it. Who knows when I’ll be in Vegas next?
As sad as I was to leave Vegas, something else was on my mind. I had been waiting a full two months for the reuniting and today was finally the day. With Vegas in our rearview, San Diego was in the horizon. I am just so lucky enough to have one of my closest friend from Merrimack, Jeannine, living there as she volunteers for the year. I was really excited to finally see her and when we embraced it was anything but that slow motion crap you see in movies. Our embraces are much more loud, obnoxious, and crazy.
It was just Andy and I staying with Jeannine tonight because we dropped Emma off at her Aunt’s house. They rarely get to see each other so we all understood. It did feel kind of weird not sleep all together. We’ve become somewhat of a tripod. When one of us isn’t there, it’s not really a tripod anymore.
Well Jeannine and I just couldn’t stop talking for the rest of the night. The only thing that could end the night was the fact that Jeannine actually had work early the next morning, and so did her 5 other housemates.
We would have to continue when she got home from work.
